Holga Film Camera Advanced Workshop

Join us for the next installment of our Experimental Camera Series! Using the Holga 120N camera, this six-session class will cover techniques including shooting with filters, double exposures, various lighting conditions, and more.

Students will have free access to the Print Room darkroom for processing film and printing photos. Classes will involve weekly critiques of the previous week's project, as well as time for printing your work in the darkroom.

Students must be familiar with using a film camera, how to load film, and basic camera operations. This is not an intro class. Experience with the Holga camera is strongly encouraged. The basics of using a Holga will be covered, but only briefly.

What You'll Need

Students provide their own Holga camera, film, photo paper, and will potentially invest up to $20 in additional supplies.

• Thursday, February 16, 6:30p - 9:00pm
• Thursday, February 23, 6:30p - 9:00pm
• Thursday, March 2, 6:30p - 9:00pm
• Thursday, March 9, 6:30p - 9:00pm

The first two classes will be Saturdays from 12:00p - 3:00p and will involve outdoor photo walks (please dress accordingly). The remaining classes will be Thursday evenings from 6:30p - 9:00p at the Print Room.
